Cool & Nocturnal
This is a relaxed and refined jazzy pop tune in cool & midnightly atmosphere.
An enseble of the drums, synth Bass, electric guitar, and the electric piano start at a time, and play a quiet but controlled rhythm.
Flugelhorn and flute join and create a thrilling midnight mood.
Deep echo and treble emphasizing effects are used for Rajie's vocal, and making it mysterious.

- About the artist
Vernal flower of the city-pop
"Rajie" debuted in 1977 with a single "Hold me tight". Since then, 10 singles, 7 studio albums, and 1 best album has been released until now.
(Wikipedia, Rajie)
Her first debut was in 1973 as a member of a chorus group, which later called as "Pony tail".
In 1975, she left the group, and started a solo career.
At the beginning, she was singing theme musics for TV advertising. But in 1977, she released her first album "Heart to Heart", which is produced by "Tsugutoshi Gotō" and "Yukihiro Takahashi", with powerful supports from many of the top musicians.
Luckily, a song in the first album titled "Ai ha tabun"(Love is probably) was adopted as a music in advertising for a popular sports car "Nissan Skyline".
The song became popular among the listeners, since it matched well with the image of the car. And, her name started to be noticed by the people.
Rajie seems to be more popular now than in 1978. Allmost all of her LPs, which had been discontinued for years, are finally released in CD format in 2014.
A few of bloggers are posting articles about her music, and a lot of music shops are now selling her CDs.
We have never seen such times before, and feeling happy as a long time fan of her.
