About the artist
Yasuhiro AbeA pioneer of Japanese AOR
"Yasuhiro Abe" is a singer-songwriter, composer, and music producer active since 1982.
He has been a singer-songwriter focusing on the mellow and stylish type music, which is often called "City-pops". Musicians like "Masamichi Sugi", or "Kazumasa Oda" are closer allies.
If that helps, "AOR" is an abbreviation for "Adult oriented rock". The term is often used in Japan, but it seems that such type of music is more often called as "AC" (Adult contemporary music) in other countries.
"Abe" debuted in 1982 with a single, "We Got It!". Since then, 16 singles, and 15 original, live, and 10 best albums have been released until now.
