- Sound impressions
Stylish & refreshing
This is a so refreshing fusion instrumental in comfortable speed on 16 beat rhythm.
The drums, bass, electric piano and the string synthesizer "Solina"(the ARP String Ensemble) start the introduction, and the electric guitar quickly joins.
Beautiful female chorus add a smoothness to the ensemble, and solo play of the electric guitar sounds fashionable.
Solina
"Solina" is a 1st generation polyphonic synthesizer developed by a dutch firm Eminent BV.
Trumpeter "Shunzō Ohno" also played "mini moog" and "Solina" synthesizers on this album.
Here is a sound sample of "Solina" from youtube.

Recover from accident
In 1988, he was involved in a traffic accident. He managed to keep alive, but he lost teeth and his lips were injured, then it seemed he cannot be a trumpet player anymore.
