"Mariko Tone" is a singer, actor, an essayist, and used to be a TV character active since 1984.
She has been releasing stylish urban-pop songs, or Jazzy ballads mainly. But she is still well known as a singer of her debut single "Dellinger". Because the song was used as an opening theme for a popular TV anime, "Cat's Eye" (2nd season), and became a big hit.
Mariko Tone debuted in 1984 with single "Dellinger". Since then, 16 singles, and 9 original, plus 7 best albums have been released until now.
