  • This song seems like sharing a feeling of a young woman being excited by the scent of love.

  • And...

"Are we meant to be together? "

"We are going to rendezvous at 10, at the station, but wish to go in late, because I am still hesitating a bit..."

Sound impression

Cute & fancy

This is a cute, fancy and rhythmic, typical girls pop music for the young idol stars for the main stream market.

They say it requires different type of skills to create main stream pop musics.

Because the wide range of listeners, in other words, from school boys to granmas, would enjoy listening songs and often sing them.

To satisfy such variety of listeners, lyrics need to be easy but attractive, and melodies has to have a familiar feel, but some new twists.

To do such stunt, the creators always need to hone their special skills for writing songs appeal to all tastes.

That may be one of the reason why a few of leading song writers dominate on the creative works of the main stream pop music.

By the way, an "Istanbul version" is a new arrangement of the same song from her last album "Myself".

Some says that the "Istanbul version" means recorded in Istanbul.

We don't know if it is true or not, but just an input for you.

(Wikipedia, Eriko Tamura)

Eriko Tamura is one of the super idol star throughout '90s. Her footsteps on the entertainment business seems to be a ideal role model for the young idol stars in Japan. Here are some.

  1. "Grand prix"(Champion ship) on famous public audition program on TV.

In 1987 at her 14, she challenged for a popular TV audition program, and won the 1st prize.

The prize was almost equal to a priority pass, since the program was actually functioning as a main gate for the idol stars. What a lucky.

  2. Hit songs and awards winning.

After the debut, she enjoyed oppotunities to appear on the music varieties on TV, and quickly entered a spotlight.

Luckily, her 3rd single "Honki(serious)" became a smash hit and almost monopolized the music awards of the 1989.

  3. "Aidoru Densetsu Eriko"
(Legend of Eriko, the idol star)

"Idol Densetsu Eriko" was a TV animation for girls ran in Japan from 1989 to 1990, which featured a real idol star Eriko Tamura, that the story was fiction though.

The program became fairly popular, and Eriko Tamura eagerly supported the anime, through singing songs or sending messages for the viewers.

The animation was later broadcasted in overseas like Spain, France, Italy and some other countries, and acquired reasonable popularity.

Such was a real privilege rarely seen even in the industry. Lucky enough.

  4. Actress in TV and movies.

She has been active as an actress on the TV drama or the movies. The number of the drama series she has participated is many, and proving her popularity.

  5. Challenge in America.

In 2000, she initiated a new challenge in the United States, and started working as an anchor woman of a TV program.

In 2007, she appeared on the NBC's TV drama "Hero". Since then, she has made some appearances on the various movies.

So, what she has achieved up to now is like a dream for the ordinal idol stars. That is why we think she is a role model for them.
