About the creators
Asami Kado is a singer-songwriter with a mystifying invisible type of image.
In fact, she had almost never appeared on the TV like mass media with very few exception of a small radio program. And the release of the personal information was rare.
In addition to them, she didn't have a live or concert tour, so she was a "bush cricket in the bush"(audible but invisible) type of singer for the music fans.
As a song writer, she wrote the most of lyrics and melodies for her songs by herself.
She usually only completed lyrics and melodies, but left the arrangement works open for the supporting arrangers.
In her albums, there had been 3 to 4 different arrangers designing her songs.
The color of the songs obviously different by each arranger, and this system worked well for making her album thrilling as far as we see.
Shigeru Suzuki is a former guitarist of a legendary pop-rock group "Tin pan alley".
After the break-up of the band, as a super guitarist or professional arranger, he showed great ability in various creative functions for the Japanese popular music scene of the '80s.

This is a fancy and rosy sound in slow 16-beat rhythm at a comfortable speed.
The ensemble of the drums, bass, guitar, keyboard, and a big brass section start a glorious introduction, and a tempting saxophone solo signals the opening of the song.
Twinkling synthesizer sound adds a cute accent, and clear natural chorus imparts touch of class to the song.
Asami Kado's singing is very nice, and have something making us to feel her voice is cute and charming.
Not sure but, it seems there is a very faint pitch fluctuation on her vocal, and that may be adding loveliness on her chant, we imagine.

Asami Kado debuted in 1979 with single "Fascination". Since then, 10 singles, and 10 original plus 10 best albums has been released until now.

As referred in earlier section, she had been a unique "audible but invisible" type singer-songwriter. And the topics about her are still very limited.
We have checked many different web pages about her on the internet, but the most articles are based on the single source, or they are just personal opinions which should be left as they are.
In the early '80s, there were still some space in the society where this type of mysterious singers can live.
In fact, there were few of artists even in the Light & mellow category, who released songs but published only minimum personal information such as name and a photo on the cover art.
Now a day's, privacy for celebrities or the singers is virtually zero. If you(celebrity X) go to a coffee shop, someone would immediately tweet, " 'Celebrity X' is now drinking a glass of avocado juice at the coffee shop of the hotel 'Y'..."
So, the '80s might still be good old days for the celebrities.
Among such mysterious singers, "Asami Kado" was perhaps the most well known and successful one at that time.
