About the creators
The name of the lyricist is credited as "Clémentine Mitz" (or Clémentine-Marcela Mitz).
It seems it is a real name of Clémentine, and it is in use when she write a lyric as a lyricist.
She has been actively collaborated with the wide variety of creators. So, it has been her style to sing fine lyrics in nicely arranged good melodies offered by them.
But at the same time, she seems to prefer writing lyrics by herself, since few songs are usually written by her in each of her albums.
"Gontiti" is a pioneering acoustic guitar instrumental duo. Two excellent players namely, "Masahiko 'Gonzalez' Mikami" and "Masahide 'Titi' Matsumura" teamed up the band, and continuously releasing high quality musics.
Their music genre is called at one time "ambient", or other occasion "Jazz". So it means broad.
This year is their 40th anniversary since the band was formed in 1978. There seems to be a few of anniversary event has been held since the last year.

Clémentine & Gontiti looks like good partners for each other, since the both party seems to be sharing a common view for the music.
Gontiti plays beautiful acoustic instrumentals and Clémentine sings tasteful vocal music in French pops or Bossa nova style.
The musical expressions are different, but the spirits in their music are the same. In other words, they are both trying to deliver an elegant and the most comfortable music, with a bit of esprit, to the listeners.
Finally, Takefumi Haketa is a keyboardist and a producer debuted in 1981 as a member of a funk band "Afrika"(not c).
He has produced a lot of popular J-pop artist so far, and in pararell, he has deeply participated with gontiti music as a composer and arranger since 1993.

Voice of the wind and gontiti
This is a slow and acoustic Bossa nova with an elegant classical atmosphere.
Chic pizzicato sound of the violins start the introduction, the classical guitar and wrist bells like jingle stick like percussive tone follow.
Soon, the electric bass and the glockenspiel joins and the sound become more rich and charming.
In the bridge, the acoustic guitar plays a flowing solo backed by an interesting sampler sound which is a specialty of gontiti.
Soft breeze like healing voice of Clémentine is attractive with no equal.

Theme song for a cookery show
In the early 2000s, an interesting TV cookery show titled "Cuisinez comme un grand chef" [Japanese title: Robuchon no simple French (ロブションのシンプルフレンチ)] had been on-aired by a satellite channel called "Foodies TV".
It was just a 10-15 minutes short program. A famous French chef Joël Robuchon hosted a show(usually with a guest), and explains how to cook the dishes.
The program itself was such a simple, but Chef Joel Robuchon's talk was so informative and absorbing. (What we saw was Japanese translated version, so possibly slightly different from the original though.)
So, it was one of the favorite program for the writer here.
Luckily, we found a sample of the program.

If our writer's memory is correct, this song "Oh! Mademoiselle" had been used as a beginning or an ending theme of this program.
We have checked the various web pages on this, but could not find any related information. We would like to chase it if we found some.
At the end of the show, Chef Robuchon was always adding a nice signature line.
"Bon Appétit Bien Sûr!" (Have a good meal, of course).

Clémentine debuted in 1988 with single "Absolument Jazz". Since then, 14 singles, and 24 original pllus 2 best albums has been released until now.

Since the debut, Clémentine has been active in both France and Japan. Her elegant Jazz, French pop music, and Bossa nova in fairy-like beautiful voice are so relaxing, and popular among fans.
Animentine
It seemed she had been curious for singing Japanese songs in her style. In 2004, she released her 1st Japanese song "Teno-hira wo Taiyou-ni"(See through the palm of your hand against the sun), duetted with her daughter Solita.
But finally in 2010, she released a special album titled "Animentine - Bossa Du Animé", covering theme songs of the Japanese popular animes in Bossa nova arrange.
Become known
This opened a new frontier for her. It might have been a challenge even a experienced singer like her, but she successfully caught a number of new fan from the zone, where she had not been reached until this album.
Since then, she is singing more Japanese songs in her way. And her name is becoming more well known among the people.
